Collin, a producer of the show, is a stereotypical sci-fi nerd; if it’s a film even loosely related to space, he’s probably a fan of it. Son of a literal rocket scientist, he’s not afraid to push his glasses to his nose and begin with “well, actually…” He appreciates the world-building and history of a galactic empire and often gets lost considering the logistics needed to build a moon-sized space station of interplanetary destruction. While sci-fi remains his favorite genre, he enjoys a wide variety of films and holds a special fondness for cosmic/Lovecraftian horror. In his teenage years, he hosted “B horror movie nights” at his parents’ home, with Kevo in attendance nearly every time. Whether surprisingly good or unimaginably bad, Collin’s always seen films as a great way to bring a group of friends together. Some of his favorite films include Oppenheimer, Terminator 2, The Thing, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and Dune 2, and, of course, the Star Wars saga.

The first guest on Box Office Blast Off! Dani loves her cat, World of Warcraft, and sleeping. Her favorite films are The Northman, Poor Things, Hereditary, Longlegs, Oppenheimer, Pan's Labyrinth, and Arrival.

Dave is our expert on all things Star Trek. His most recent work was on the Star Trek fan film, Farragut Forward, and its soon-to-be-released sequel. Dave spends most of his time working on creative projects related to the local community theaters. His work in set design has earned him multiple WATCH awards. He also enjoys going to the movies for the latest blockbusters and spending time with his baby girl, Phoebe the Corgi.
